Elyse B. Johnson is the managing member of EBJ Law. She has been a practicing attorney in the Charlotte area for over fourteen years, working extensively in the areas of residential and commercial real estate. She represents home buyers, commercial and residential developers and builders, homeowner and condominium associations, commercial landlords and tenants, and local and regional businesses and professionals. Before opening her own practice in 2015, Elyse was an associate at The Deaton Law Firm, PLLC and Shapiro and Ingle, LLP.

Elyse graduated from Oakland University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and obtained her Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law in 2009. While at Ave Maria School of Law, Elyse was the Editor-in-chief of the International Law Journal, a national moot court quarter finalist and on the Dean’s list. Elyse is a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and the North Carolina State Bar.

In her free time, Elyse enjoys spending time with her dog, Cooper, and camping at beach and mountain sites.
